Bylaw Section 5. Composition, Election, and term of the board of directors

The Board of Directors shall comprise: Chair; one regional representative from each of the four CCDEH regions and two Retired Directors that are members of CCDEH. The Past President of CCDEH shall serve as Chair of CAEHA. The Vice Chair and the Secretary/Treasurer shall be appointed by the directors.

 

Directors shall be elected at the annual meeting of the Board of Directors for a term of two (2) years. The board chair term is one year.) Each Director shall hold office until the expiration of the term for which elected, and until a successor is elected and qualified. Each director shall cast one vote.

 

Except to fill a vacancy in the Chair, the Chair shall not be a Retired Director.   For the election of the founding board, the representatives from CCDEH Region II and IV and one of the Retired Directors shall hold a one-year term to provide staggered terms.
